So there's this maniac named Darcy. He's an FCS original, but likes to hide in the shadows. That is, except when he feels like harassing me by e-mail. Always eager to talk to fellow food lovers, as we continued to e-mail back and forth, I find out that he is an amazing photographer. Not to mention, this guys kitchen and serving utensils rival those of upscale professional restaurants.
He sent me some pictures today, and here's what he said:
I had a couple friends come over after work, realized I had nothing other than a few items in the fridge. Put together a quick smoked-salmon tartar, cucumber, lemon-mustard sauce, and threw in some tomato and sous vide beef bacon I had laying around (that I quickly threw in a hot pan)....Pretty good. We just picked away at it. Quite tasty actually.
Yeah, I'd say (see below). So I'm posting his pictures here to kick off our official food porn thread. I hope he doesn't mind, because I didn't ask permission...but hey, that's what you get for e-mail stalking me.

Now that the gauntlet has been thrown down, let's make an effort to show Darcy that he's not the only guy out there with thousands of dollars worth of cooking and camera equipment.....OK, so maybe he has most of us beat there, but I know we have some capable cooks/photographers that can give him a run for his money.
Oh, and Darcy, I know you're reading this you damn shadow lurker. You better create a profile and post more pictures! I demand that your profile pic be the one of you with your bunny navigator!
