Newbie here!

Greetings all. I am so happy to have found this site, I listened to all of the FCS podcasts several months ago and presumed the project was left in limbo, and very sad about the entire thing, so glad to see it has transformed into something even better!

A bit about me - I'm 23 in Canada, and I just got involved in the industry about 2 years ago. A little late to arrive on the scene, but better late then never. I've gone through a couple of prep cooking jobs and just scored my first gig as a line cook, albeit at a chain restaurant where I find the food, though good, somewhat uninspired. In any case, I begin culinary school in September in the lovely city of Toronto and have found this site to be the most valuable resource I have found yet in my culinary journeys. Thank you Jacob for what you have created here, and I look forward to interacting with you all!
