So - anyone prepare for Chinese New Year either in their homes, or for their restaurants?
I grew up with a Korean sister and found celebrating with her during Chinese New Year to be such a great festivity! Many Asian countries share in the celebration of CNY.
I enjoy the labor and efforts to create the traditional meals and food-items that normally associate with CNY. Everything is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients possible. We are very fortunate here to have several ethnic markets in our area - the prices are significantly much lower while the quality is exemplary! Im telling you - gochujang..... get it!
I will do a combination of traditional Chinese as well as Korean to have a nice variety. And, for me it is a way to keep my sister's memory alive by honoring her life and to find inner peace.
Anyone else get involved with CNY?
